“I’d definitely recommend Clearview to anybody that was looking for secondary glazing. The whole process for us has been fantastic and it’s definitely made a big difference to our house.
So, the problem we were having with our windows were that we moved into an old property. The windows were quite rickety. There were a lot of draughts coming through. And also we’re quite close to a really busy main road so, the noise levels were really, really high. I spent some time on Google looking at different companies. Found Clearview’s site and looked at their reputation and gave them a call. They were really helpful on the phone. Somebody came out within a couple of weeks to have a look at the windows. Give me some advice about what to do and what were the best options.
I looked at the option of getting brand new windows. It’s what I initially thought might have been the option but then when they came and explained what was possible. The reduction in sound levels and the difference it would make to the warmth of the house and it just seemed like an obvious choice. And actually the condition of the windows now we’ve had them decorated look great. So, we’ve kept the character of the property but we still maintain the benefits of modern double glazing as well.
The guys from Clearview, when they came to fit them, were great. They came in, very little mess at all. They were respectful of the house and made sure that it was done as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
The difference in the sound level from the road, which was our number one priority to get sorted out, was amazing and it’s definitely made the house a lot quieter inside. From a heat perspective it’s been great because the house is now a lot warmer. And also I really like how compact and neat they look as well. So, yeah it’s great. They fitted into the house perfectly.”
