Throughout our product range, our Vision Series of secondary glazing systems, Clearview provide a 10 year guarantee. It’s a demonstration of our commitment to our customers, quality of product and workmanship.

Clearview “Supply” and “Install” top quality secondary glazing that, with minimum regular maintenance, will deliver years of trouble-free operation. Our continual investment in people and technology ensures that we are always able to give you the optimum finished product.

Please note: the warranty & guarantee is not insurance backed and only extends to the Purchaser/initial property where the systems are installed it is not transferable beyond this period of ownership.

Clearview Supplied and Fitted secondary glazing 10 year guarantee

The Clearview warranty period begins from the date that we supply and install your order, and it guarantees that the product as supplied to you is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of:

  • 10 years – Aluminium Frames
  • 2 years – Moving parts (including but not limited to, locks, handles, rollers, hinges). Caulk and ancillary fillers/sealants.
  • 1 year – Spriral Spring Balances (Vertical Sliding systems)

 

Clearview Supply Only secondary glazing 10 year guarantee

The Clearview warranty period begins from the date of supply of your order, this is not an insurance backed guarantee but it guarantees that the product as supplied to you is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of:

  • 10 years – Aluminium Frames
  • 2 years – Moving parts (including but not limited to, locks, handles, rollers, hinges).
  • 1 year – Spriral Spring Balances (Vertical Sliding systems)
  • Note: Relating to all products purchased via the Supply Only format, any issues caused by fitting will not be covered in your guarantee. 

 

Glass:

The very nature of glass makes it difficult to offer any form or warranty or guarantee in relation to issues or damage, we review queries on an individual basis, based on the following criteria:

  • Maximum warranty period – 10-days from delivery, no claims can be accepted thereafter.
  • Glass Imperfections or blemishes: if the issue can be detected with normal vision from a distance of 2-meters, we will offer to collect any removable panels or complete units where uninstalled where panel removal is not possible, for rectification and return.
  • Smashed or cracked Glass: We only supply Toughened or Laminated Glass. Any faults within the glass structure will  cause failure with minimal flexing or movement, therefore the manual handling of the glass from manufacture, unit conversion and distribution, will stress the glass to the extent where any faults or flaws will become apparent well before the point of delivery. Failure thereafter can only be considered as handling or interaction with circumstances outside its structural capability.

CLAIMS: In the first instance any claims should be submitted by email describing the issue to info@clearviewsg.co.uk and where possible include photos of the issue being described.

Clearview systems are designed specifically for internal applications where they are not exposed to the elements.

If fitted externally, no claims can be accepted against warranties, guarantees or performance or any consequential aspects related to the installation.
