Warm, Stable and Secure

At Clearview we received a clear brief to warm up a converted stable in Norton, which was a Grade II Listed 1860 building. Beautiful elements of the property were the oversized arched windows that gave the property a distinct look.
The owners had to locate a product that qualified for listed building approval because double glazing is prohibited in listed structures. They contacted Clearview Secondary Glazing to install secondary glazing at the house to help with noise reduction, heat retention, and condensation removal after doing some internet research. It was difficult to find a business that could properly seal two of the eleven windows because they were very large and arched and not many companies cater for these requirements.
Says one of the property’s owners:
“We talked to a few companies about the work, but decided Clearview were the most competent, and knowledgeable. Andrew Saunby came to talk to us, and gave great advice about our windows. You can hardly notice the secondary glazing inside and cannot see it at all from the outside – so it has retained the character of our home, while also making it more energy efficient.”
Our installation of secondary glazing not only improved the property’s energy efficiency, but also gave the owner a more quieter and stable atmosphere. Secondary glazing offers a whole host of benefits for listed properties as well as residential and commercial buildings to better your living standards.
